I don't get it. Are you complaining? It was a beautiful pass and catch. Even if there was no defense, it would have been a beautiful play. But it was in the biggest non-conference game all year, against an incredible Ohio State defense, in Columbus, in the closing minutes of the game, to put their team ahead, in their ONLY close game all season. No one wanted to see Salley make the play more than I did, but you have to admit that it was a truly impressive play.

The play was incredible. It was defensed as well as it possibly could have been. The throw was perfect and Sweed made an incredible play to make the catch. I don't mind getting beaten when the other team makes a perfect play to do so.

As compliments go, it's as good a compliment as a 9-2 team can expect.
If that play had occurred against Baylor would anyone have cared? That play mattered so much because the OSU Defense, unlike anyone else on Texas' schedule, MADE Vince Young throw to win. The fact that he did is painful; but the fact that doing that against us is called his best play of the year is as good a compliment as we will receive from ESPN anytime soon.

Interesting replies. One analyst blames it on the fact that we went into coverage mode on the play instead of blitzing. This Buckeye fan thinks it should have never come down to that play. We blew too many chances.
