Rivals College All American Team for 2005
Better than the CFN squad, IMO:
Rivals All American Team for 2005 Hawk - first team Ginn (KR) - first team Mangold - second team Carpenter - third team Salley - third team Rivals did not select "honorable mentions". Last edited by LordJeffBuck; 12-12-2005 at 05:34 PM. Reason: added Nate Salley as third team |

I guess Elvis left the 1st team building, eh?
That was the only surprise. Other than that, it looks pretty good. |

Great to see Mangold, Carp, and Salley get some national recognition.

Carp should be 2nd or 1st team, IMHO, also Kudla and Pitcock should have been in there somewhere, what about Holmes, total Bull....

Sorry, but Ginn doesn't deserve to even be third team this year after the season he had. Yeah, he busted a few, but he also stunk up the place in several games...I can recall at least three muffed punts in the final few games.
And Holmes not even making third team at WR is an absolute joke. |

How did D'Brickashaw Ferguson end up on the 3rd team? I'm by no means an O-lineman critic, but I would thought for a guy projected as a Top 5 (or atleast Top 10) draft pick, that he would be pretty locked in for a first-team all american selection. Did he just have a bad season, or limited by injuries? Or is he just suited more for the NFL?
