Muha, that's a great find. And the pics reveal much of Miami's "adjustment" to Ohio State's defense, "When they line up in that bear defense grab a jersey and hold on for all your worth."

I rewatch my tape of that game from time to time and get steamed each time Gamble gets held on that third and long and we have to punt instead of running out the clock to win in regulation. Miami fans seem to ignore that call.

Many Miami fans think that play should have never happened due to "delay of game" that should have been called. It was close.

It actually was a delay of game, I've watched that snap frame by frame many times and while it is very close, there is no question that it was indeed a delay of game.

that always happens though because the ref cannot look at both the ball being snapped AND the playclock at the same time. He has to look at the playclock, see the ZERO, and then look back to see if the ball has been snapped. In that split second, the ball could be snapped, and the ref cannot call any penalty even though technically the ball was snapped a little late.

That happened a lot in the first half of The Game this year, when tsun was on offense. I was screaming at the TV, "BLOW THE [censored]ING WHISTLE!!"
