Given some of the previous posts regarding his "interest" in tOSU, I think it's a great sign that he attended Pro Day. Of course, I can't imagine a high school athlete anywhere would pass up such an opportunity.

Rivals $
3/10
Film of Soloman.
My Take: Soloman shows good explosiveness off the ball and solid lateral movement. He will need to learn how to use his hands as he gives up too much body and college OL will exploit that. His frame can easily hold much more weight. Good athleticism and a solid prospect.

He is a really solid looking prospect. I think he will get an offer at camp. He is in that athletic mold like Martin, but Martin is more polished. I think that Thomas, could be a sort of a project which would be a good offer for us, b/c we would be able to redshirt him and then be ready to learn from some good DE. Him and Martin would be two book end DE's and would be explosive coming off the edge.

FWIW, Duane Long calls him the 2nd best DE he's ever seen in Ohio...behind only Ben Martin.

Not saying I know better than Duane but sometimes he makes me wonder. First with rating Belton the #3 player in Ohio now this. He means better than Robert Rose then? Though I think Thomas is tough, I tend to disagree.

RBO--also, you could throw Wilson into the mix...everyone is raving about Wilson's talent potential....how soon Duane forgets...

Rose was still learning the position during the season last year, and still has a way to go. Also Wilson yes people were high on him, but he was still a project and has developed.
Thomas is also a project, but he is a very athletic DE and looks to have explosive ness coming off the edge.
