June 19, 1988 at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. The first Major League Baseball game I ever attended at 10 years old. My dad and I went on Father's Day. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. The Indians beat the Yankees in a game that featured a grand slam home run, a diving catch in center field and a bench clearing brawl. I still have the ticket stub.
The first and to this day the best baseball game I have ever attended.

Boston Bruins vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
This was Mario Lemieux's last regular-season home game the first time he retired. At the time, nobody knew if he'd be able to play again. When entering Mellon Arena, everyone was given posters that said "Merci!" on one side, and "Mario" on the other. Between two whistles, Mario skated out on the ice and acknowledged the fans during a five minute or so standing ovation. I'll never forget that.. he was my favorite player.
I still have those posters. They're on my bedroom wall, actually.
My first night game at the 'Shoe would be high on this list, except for the fact that it was last year against Illinois.

Watching Arizona State with Jake "The Snake" score what looked like a winning TD and summarily using the tv remote to customize the hotel room wall, only to see the glorious Joe Germaine led Rose Bowl comeback in the final seconds.

April 2006 I was invited to a golf outing in Atlanta. It was the Atlanta chapter Ohio State Booster club who put it on at a very nice golf/country club just outside Atlanta in Decator. Beautiful place. I went with a good buddy of mine, who goes to this event every 5 yrs. He meets about 6 of his close high school buddies from Carey , Ohio. It was a 4 day event, and everyone stayed at my buddies cousin's house . His cousin , by the way is a Buckeye Alumni, and he organizes golf outtings for a living( for various clubs, buisness's, etc.) . Cool career ehh? At any rate I got the very great pleasure in meeting some former Buckeye greats. One in particular.......Archie Griffin. What a wonderful, humble human being. Keith Byers was also there, that guys hands can palm a 16 lb bowling ball( thier huge). The golfing itself for me was a challenge, because it was the 1 st time I had ever played in steep elevations ( there are no hills in Florida). I could not believe one par 3 was close to a 40 ft drop from tee to green, that was crazy. After golfing, the clubhouse was full of various Alumni, boosters, and former players. But I wanted to get a photo with Archie, and I ended up getting one, he also signed a football for me and my visor I wore that day. All in all it was a wonderful experiance. They had various prizes and give aways throughout the outting. And I cannot forget the hot females they had riding through the course selling beer and other drinks( that was cool). I will never forget that weekend..............
Go Bucks!

I remember being at my grandma's on a somewhat nice day; I believe it was novemeber 9th, 2002.... on saturday's and sundays most of my extended family go down their for breakfast or lunch; she just wakes up every morning on the weekends around 6am and starts cooking. 99.9% of the time - we show up throughout random spurts of the day.
Well, my dad and I arrived in the earlier afternoon I believe. After some talking I recall going into the living room where my one of my uncle's had the OSU game on.
It was late in the 4th quarter and he was jumping around very nervous...
little did I know what would happen next would most likely be forever burned into my memory.

1. 2002 NC
2. Return of Super Mario Lemieux.
3. I had a great sports weekend in 2001 whilst in Nashville. Friday Night: Penguins vs. Predators, Saturday: Watch Ohio State beat Michigan, Sunday: Steelers vs. Titans.
4. Going to my first game at Ohio Stadium, and watching Ohio State destroy Indiana 44-3.
5. Going to PNC Park for the first time. Unfortuantely, winning doesn't come with a new ballpark.

Game 1 of 1990 world series Reds vs. A's
"Davis stuns Goliath" game.
I was in the last row under the scoreboard...but I was in the building!
From Wikipedia:
Quote:
When Oakland Athletics pitcher Dave Stewart entered to pitch Game 1, he had a six game postseason winning streak going (it ended after four innings of work).
The Reds got out of the gate quickly with a two-run blast (that that nearly hit the CBS television studio where anchor Pat O'Brien was sitting in left-center) from Eric Davis in the bottom of the first inning off A's ace Dave Stewart. Billy Hatcher helped out offensively in a big way by starting his streak of seven straight hits in the series (after a walk in the first inning). Jose Rijo settled in after the early lead and cruised to a surprise Cincinnati victory. The following day, the headline of the Cincinnati Post newspaper captured the city's surprise with the headline, "DAVIS STUNS GOLIATH."

My sister went to game 2 with my dad....I was set to go for game 5. Alas, game 5 was not meant to be.
