A few comments on a few of our seniors:

Bobby Carpenter--if Hawk weren't on this team, Carpenter would be receiving the rave "all-American" reviews. Maybe the best NFL prospect of the bunch. Will be All-Pro. May be a Hall of Famer.

John Conroy--walk on, earned scholarship. Does it get any better than that?

Tyler Everett--Mike Doss protege. Ultimate warrior. Destined for a succesfull NFL career.

Marcus Green--the Journeyman. Slogging away in the trenches. Really coming into his own in November of his final season.

Ryan Hamby--tough Senior campaign, but ultimate team player.

Rob Harley--legacy of Chic Harley lives on. Ultimate Buckeye.

AJ Hawk--what more can be said than has already been said? He's been more fun to watch than anyone since Spielman.

Josh Huston--case study in perserverance. 19 straight touchbacks and still counting. The energizer bunny.

Mike Kudla--maybe the best story of the bunch. Nearly died two years ago. I am so happy he's been able to enjoy a full injury-free season. What a force. Kudos to Kudla.

Nick Mangold--maybe the best Center in OSU history (LeCharles Bentley notwithstanding). Solid citizen. Ultimate Buckeye.

Nate Salley--as Donte Whitner says, "This is Nate Salley's secondary." Great leadership.

Anthony Schlegel--the "boar hunter." Joined our group late, but understood the meaning of Buckeye.

Brandon Schnittker--Brainiac. Maybe not the greatest skills, but a) got the most out of them, and b) imparted his leadership skills to others.

Rob Sims--Ultimate warrior. Refused to accept good enough. Challenged those around him to achieve.

Andree Tyree--Jack of all trades. Played more positions than anyone else on this list. Ironically, his versatility probably limited his playing time.

Steve Winner--walk on, earned scholarship. Does it get any better than that?

Nicely Done (and succinct too)!

The only thing that I would take issue with is the appelation of Best Buckeye Center for Mangold. My own personal vote for that status would go to Steve Meyers. Yes, I'm over 40. Why do you ask?

Have some green.

I can't wait to cheer these guys on when they are announced with their parents before the game on Saturday. The Shoe will be rocking, and rightly so.

This is a special class, and they MUST go out with a special performance.

I was in the 'Shoe when THE Buckeye, Chris Spielman, left his home field for the final time with a loss. Nevermind the ridiculous Iowa comeback. Nevermind the 5-4-1 record (at the time). I was absolutely catatonic for days because THE #36 tasted defeat on Senior Day. This sickens and saddens me to this day.

This MUST NOT HAPPEN to Hawk, Kudla, Carpenter...

I can't even go on. I am so damn fired up I want to grab a helmet and defend the 'Shoe myself.

KILL THE PRETENDERS!! SMACK THEIR IMPUDENT ASSES AND SEND THEM HOME TO THEIR MOMMY CRYING!!

i really hope that the people that are lucky enough to attend Saturday's game send the seniors out with one of the loudest games ever. These boys deserve that, if you are lucky enough to be there, make sure you are loud!

LETS GO BUCKS
