2007 we are a true balanced attack with Todd the Bomber, Beanie Wells, and one hell of an OL.
I can't think of another coach who can adapt to his personnel as well as JT does.

Jim Tressel is top five greatest things to ever happen to Ohio State football. In no particular order: Jim Tressel, Chic Harley, Ohio Stadium, Woody Hayes, Archie Griffin.

Tressel is 'master motivator'
Seventh-year coach showed players a boxing match with a Buckeye faithful for game prep.

Monday, October 29, 2007
To get his players ready for a showdown Saturday night, Ohio State coach Jim Tressel had them learn about a Penn State mauling and watch a Buckeye fan do a little brawling.
Former OSU quarterback Bobby Hoying gave a first-hand account of the Nittany Lions' 63-14 victory in 1994, warning the current team to brace for a constant din in Beaver Stadium.
Tressel also showed a snippet of boxer Kelly Pavlic's grueling middleweight fight against champion Jermain Taylor last month. Pavlic, a Youngstown native, entered the ring in a scarlet sweatshirt and wore gray trunks adorned with an OSU block "O" during his seven-round TKO.

Tressel?s motivational tool box well stocked
Jim Naveau | jnaveau@limanews.com - 10.29.2007
COLUMBUS ? For Ohio State senior co-captain Kirk Barton there was no doubt.
There was no doubt the No. 1-ranked Buckeyes were ready to play in a 37-17 win over Penn State on Saturday night. And there was no doubt coach Jim Tressel will come up with some interesting motivational tactics with Wisconsin coming to Ohio Stadium this Saturday.
?Tress is the master motivator,? Barton said on Saturday night, as he described some of the things Tressel did to prepare the team for its trip to Penn State.
Those motivational tools included watching tapes of middleweight champion fighter Kelly Pavlik, of Youngstown, which is a weekly occurrence, and bringing in former quarterback Bob Hoying to talk about one of the most one-sided losses in OSU history, a 63-14 defeat at Penn State in 1994.
?He finds new things for us to watch every week,? Barton said. ?I don?t ask questions when it works.?

I don't worry too much about criticism because if you're not tough enough to handle criticism, then you better get out of this game, because there's a whole lot of people that have interest in this game. And there's a whole lot of people that don't really have much understanding of what it takes to be good at this game but yet love to have opinions. If you struggle taking criticism, then you need to not be at Ohio State or not be playing the game of football. - Jim Tressel
