Brilliant article.
My favorite part...

Tressel doesn't yell or scream at practice. But last season, Poe overheard Tressel reading his players the riot act. She wondered what caused a man who seems to have no dander get so worked up.
This did: Six players left without putting their cafeteria trays away when they were finished with dinner that day.
Tressel yelled, "You think you're better than the people working in the cafeteria?"
The message was clear. Blessed? Yes. Better? No.

Wow. His character is amazing. I'm honored to be a graduate of the university he works at.

Hell, I would've paid him money if he let me shovel his driveway.

Great article about a great coach, and an even greater human being. We in Buckeye nation are lucky to have such a classy, humble individual coaching and teaching (not just the football players)

ZanesvilleTimesRecorder: Tressel not just beating M*ch*gan on the field

Tressel not just beating Michigan on the field
Sam Blackburn, Staff Writer

This time around, there wasn't much game planning.
In fact, it may have been among the easier victories of his coaching career - certainly the most uneventful. And it came against the school's biggest rival, nonetheless.
Indeed, Ohio State's Jim Tressel just keeps beating Michigan.
When mega-recruit Terrelle Pryor finally signed on the dotted line, choosing OSU over the Wolverines and first-year coach Rich Rodriquez last week, it was another example of how the balance of power has shifted in the Big Ten.
Pryor's big decision - the drawn-out, time-consuming ordeal that it was - captivated fans throughout Big Ten country. It certainly did in Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania, where media and fans followed the situation as closely as the Democratic debates.
Barack and Hillary? Not that important.
But what did Terrelle eat today? Did he shower or use the latrine? Does he prefer Pizza Rolls or Bagel Bites? One can't help but feel for the kid, even if he did get himself into this mess in the first place.
What had them all buzzing? Because Pryor's good. Real good. Some think he's the best recruit in the country - definitely the best quarterback.
cont'd...
