I love reading these kinds of articles. Marcus sounds like an amazing kid. For every spoiled athlete that acts like a jerk on and off the field, there's the great kid like Marcus. If only the media focused more on these kids instead of the bad eggs....
By the way, I loved his quote about academics and playing football:
"It's school first and football second here," he said. "That's why they call us student-athletes. Coach Tressel is all about academics."

Just watching the game again, and Marcus had a couple of good runs. He rocked Aaron Gant too.

Marcus was on the punt return team against YSU and may have been the guy who partially blocked the punt.

Scout.com: Talkin' Tressel: Northwestern Edition ($)
States that Marcus Williams and Herron are both considered for action this weekend.
Some have stated this, but it would be nice to preserve Herron's redshirt - especially if the rest of the season resulted in little to no action.
It would be great for Marcus to get some real reps behind the 1st or 2nd string OL at home.
On a side note - met him quickly at church, seemed like a nice kid too.
Edit: took out the quote - pay site...

To me, the smart move would be to use Williams in the backfield if Beanie and Zoom are ailing, and preserve Herron's redshirt...

Agreed - hopefully this becomes moot, and Saine is good to go. If not, save the redshirt.
