I believe it's both Cal and Cincy, unless something changes.
tOSU plays at Cincy 9/8/2012, and hosts Cincy 9/6/2014.
tOSU is also tentatively scheduled to play Cal in 2012 and 2013, with the sites/dates not finalized. Cal was expected to visit C-Bus in 2012 and host the Buckeyes in 2013.
But there was some speculation on a Cal blog last month that tOSU may be attempting to cancel that pair of games.

It is indeed Cal and not Cincinnati. By the way, it's a home-and-away series (each plays a home game and an away game).

Thanks---my bad. By "home & home", I meant ours and theirs.

You could also call it an "away and away", each team paying an away game. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine...

I can relate--have a few of my own. No hard feelings at all, though. Have a good day, Mili!

BB, was there any speculation as to why tOSU is trying to cancel the series? I wonder if there's some "big fish" out there that wants a game with us and we're reconsidering...

There was no reason, but it was based on the Cal Scout site showing the game in 2012 as "at Ohio St cancelled". The tOSU Scout site still lists both games.

USC is in trouble 08!
We're going to have a very nasty team in 08. Even if Gholston, Laurenitis, and Jenkins leave early.
Offense:
QB- 6 5" 235 Beckman Sr.- i honestly think that people are under rating him, now hes had 5 years in the system! and when hes a Sr that will be 6 years in it, with that kind of experience he should be able to run the offense blind folded. And dont try to say his arm strength is to weak because chad pennington and drew bree have some of the weakest arms in the nfl and nothing stopping them.
RB- Chris Wells Jr- beanie will be a hiesman canidate and will be 6 1" 240 4.45 40, i never been a ravens fan but thats like jamal lewis before the crack. honestly its probably not fair for someone to be as big and as fast as beanie will be. i will feel sorry for USC 5 star linebacker recruits...oh wait no i wont lol
6 1" 220 Brandon Saine- talk about the next bo jackson, 220 lbs and a 10.38 100 meters? damn thats going! alot of people watch his tape and say that he doesnt play to that speed but he does, many people dont understand how long his stride actually is, it looks kinda like hes jogging but that amount of ground hes covering is phenomenal! speed = stride length x stride frequency and he has plenty of that, did i mention he's 220 lbs?
WR- 6 3" 185 Hartline Jr- hartline is a very underrated much like gonzo was in 05, hes also a freakin burner! he beat malcom jenkins deep in the spring game, not a easy thing to do just ask mario manningham.
Brain Robiski 6 3" 195 Sr- Mr clutch, does everything right, will be in the nfl one day thats for sure.
Ray Small 6 175 Jr- a homerun threat every time he touches the ball, also a very dangerous kick returner i had no idea he was as fast as he was till i saw the spring game, all you guys that were there know what im talking about.
Devon Lyons 6 4" 215 Sr.- ive never seen him play WR but he's leaving a real good imporession on the coaches so he must be doing something right lol and you have to love that size.
TE- Rory Nicol 6 5" 250 Sr- I think he is a very underated and i think he just needed i chance to get the ball, he was the number 2 rated tight end in his class hes a very solid blocker and much more athletic than peaople give him credit for, i cant wait to see him play this year.
LT 6 8" 325 Alex boone Sr.- in 08 Boone will be the prime time Tackle in college football, a first rounder maybe top 10 pick for sure.
LG 6 8" 330 Steve Rehring Sr- will be a all-american and first day possible first rounder draft pick( | |
