Tressel said today that he is expected to recover well and be back in a few weeks. He was not there for camp evaluations, however.

My father had a quadruple bypass and woke up the next morning with more energy than he had had for years. He was back to his normal activities in about three or four weeks and he was over 70.

An update from the Ozone.
ozone.Summercamp
Coaching Staff Health Update: The OSU coaching staff has been hit by a rash of illnesses of late, including potentially serious heart problems for both Offensive Coordinator Jim Bollman and Quarterbacks Coach Joe Daniels. According to OSU running backs coach Dick Tressel, there is good news on Jim Bollman.
"He didn't actually have a heart attack," said Tressel. "He's back home and says he is walking about three miles a day now. He was here at camp for one day. He's the kind of guy that it will be hard to keep away from here. He's got good color and he's chomping at the bit."

This is great to hear....
Dispatch

Quote:
Not only is Jim Bollman feeling good in his recovery from heart bypass surgery in late May, he may actually be feeling too good. While the Ohio State coaches were working youth football camps last week, Bollman, the offensive coordinator, showed up unexpectedly and the other coaches had to chase him away.
Bollman, 51, has said all along that he expects to be back before the Buckeyes open preseason camp in August.

Hope Coach Bollman gets well.
Also, don't forget to keep Coach Daniels in your thoughts and prayers. He needs it right now.
