Mike Doss, I have never personally seen anyone hit or play as hard as him.

I'm going to have to go with Stacey Gordon as well. She is most definately a hottie. But, she's also very aware and down to earth. Ohio State has been very lucky to have her. She is every bit the athlete that Katie Smtih was.
This is the Stacey Gordon I met: http://www.thelantern.com/news/2001/...m-152019.shtml |

Forced to choose one I think I will go with Jack Tatum.
Difficult though. I love Stillwagon, Otis, Spielman, Brockington and many others. It's almost impossible to not choose Archie. |

But I would have to say that his performance in the 2003 Penn State game was really amazing. I was at that game, and have been to Happy Valley to see the Bucks a few times, and that was the first time I saw a Buckeye victory, so that game really stands out. It's an amazing feeling to leave Happy Valley with a win. I'm looking forward to leaving Ann Arbor with a victory for the first time next year. |

Krenzel has to be it. George used to be my top pick, but this kid had to have risen to the occasion more than any other player. He was intelligent and understood what he was capable of, yet still confident enough to lead OSU to victory after victory. He won a good number of games when Clarett was too injured to play.

Jack Tatum is fun to watch on old games on the classic channel... I never saw him in person though... He is my fav. Buckeye.
of the more current folks, I really enjoyed watching Eddie rip teams up... esp. ND ![]() |

Way back when, I used to work in a coffee shop and this ex-buckeye player used to come in about once a week to hang out. I never knew he played for Woody until I saw the gold pants around his kneck one day. Granted, it was the John Cooper era, and I don't think anyone knew what "Gold Pants" were, even the players.
This guy wore that necklace like he could wanted to go in and play that day against Michigan. When I pointed out the necklace, you should have seen the look of pride on his face. "Oh, you know what these mean?" My vote for favorite Buckeye goes to all of the players who gave it their all on the field. Maybe they never got announced on the PA, or very seldom. Maybe they never made it to the pro's. But they played with heart and class and honor and best of all, BEAT MICHIGAN. Thanks for being a part of the tradition and my life. The Unknown Buck can dot the "I" every game if you ask me. |

It's a long list, but it's not too tough to pick an absolute favorite. Archie Griffin. |
