damn thats a tough one, i can rattle off a list of several, but i would have to say that my favorite has to be David Boston. But ask me this question in 1-2 more years and i have a feeling its going to be Ted Ginn Jr

I guess it is hard to choose one, because each class is different. Right now my favoties are Mike Nugent and A.J. Hawk. Before that it was Craig Krenzel. I liked Pepe Pearson and Eddie George. I enjoyed David Boston too. I guess the guy that is going to stand out to me the most is going to be Craig Krenzel. The fact that he won all those games in a row and beat scUM two years in a row and won a national championship by being the leading rusher in the game...while at the same time being pre-med. I really liked that about him. I really wish every player was like Craig Krenzel.
So my favorite Buckeye that i've watched play: Craig Krenzel |

From different eras, Jim Stillwagon, Cris Carter, Rob Kelley, and Donte Whitner...
From the earlier years, Jim Stillwagon because he was the ultimate trench warfare specialist. He knew how to maneuver in there with the "big uglies" and dominate guys who were bigger than him. I remember seeing him make o-linman bigger than him his bitch for entire games. From the 80s, Cris Carter because he made some of the sickest catches I can remember ever seeing in person and he went on to battle some major demons and have one of the most productive NFL careers ever. From the 90s, Rob Kelley because the guy had absolutely no regard for his own body. He used to blitz with the most reckless abandon ever. I love that. He was the white reincarnation of Jack Tatum. And Donte Whitner currently because I love watching him bring the wood. He is going to be a great one at safety by the time he leaves here. Plus, "Lights Out" is a sweet nickname. |
