A. Never question goodguy
B. What happens if Trapasso gets hurt in 09. I think Buchanan could potentially fill in if nobody else does, or at least provide competition while he redshirts.
C. Sweetest Day is a fictitious holiday created by Hallmark.

Excellent point...certainly not ruling him out getting an offer to be a part of the '08 class.

Then we'd be fine with a grayshirt frosh Buchanan Thoma could fill in if Trapasso gets hurt in 08.
What happens if a starting OL gets hurt in 09?
- Only 5 current OL will still be around
- Schollies available: 2008 - 13 (before attrition). 2009 - 25+.
That's why many hope Buchanan would be willing to grayshirt, especially since he'd be on the bench anyway in 08.

I didn't realize Buchanan could punt as well. This is a great pickup even with limited scholarships.

Nice pickup, this is a two for one deal (punter and kicker). From reading the article, it doesnt' sound like he will be greyshirted.

It just continues to show the importance JT puts on special teams. I mean how many teams with 14-17 ships have a spot and the first one to boot for a kicker / punter. Excellent.
