2006 AWAY Football game ticket prices

Just got my AWAY game ticket order form. I'm assuming these are for two tickets as it says "(LIMIT 2)" on most of them. I can't imagine Iowa and Michigan St having more expensive tickets than OSU? Also is Texas in such dire need (reconstruction) they need to sell tickets at $85 a piece?

Texas LIMIT TWO Price $85
Iowa LIMIT TWO Price $60
MSU LIMIT TWO Price $70
Ill NO LIMIT Price $50
NW NO LIMIT Price $50 I guess there is NO LIMIT when you're the bottom feeders of the conference right EvanstonCat?

I'm 99% sure those prices are per ticket. Meaning 2 tickets to Texas Game will cost $170.

The "LIMIT TWO" part means you can only get two tickets for $85 each.

FYI, students can enter the lottery for away games starting April 1st, instead of just a week before the game or however it was last year. I doubt they'll be giving away a whole lot of Texas tickets to students, but it's worth a shot!

A few of my friends (were all going to be seniors next year) were talking about making a trip to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:State w:st="on"><ST1Texas</ST1</st1:State> in September. In short, I was wondering, how do you get into this away game ticket lottery for students? Do you just sign up somewhere, and if you get on the list it earlier, is there a better chance of getting the tickets?<O</O

Tickets for Texas Vs Oklahoma and Texas Vs Texas A&M were $85 last year and this year, it is market price, that is all.

My tickets to the Shoe last year were $270 a piece, and I was behind a pole, I could never bring myself to look at the actual face value of the tickets

I've found all the ads for student tickets for away games becoming available. My dad is an alum, is there a place he can get tickets. Like a lot of people we're looking for tickets for Texas.

Michigan State (closest road trip by about an hour) is saying that Ohio State game tickets will not be sold as single game tickets. Same thing for their Irish game. I think it's nuts they raise their ticket prices $29 just because the opponent is better...glad we dont have to do that...

I wouldn't count it out in the future. A lot of schools do this. Why would the school pass along that excess profit to scalpers when they can keep it themselves? The market is there.
