Do you like the new jerseys?

I'm guessing this is going to be a massacre but still curious to see exactly how it shakes out.

Yep the tight fit looks sweet and just makes since. Much harder to grab ahold of for the opposing team. Also, I like the old school look, high cut sleeves, and high numbers. Only thing I stongly disagree with is not having gray on the stripes instead of white.

I do like the new jerseys. However I do not like the new jerseys better than the old jerseys.

as for your question... imo, the only thing grey left on the uni is the helmet. I couldn't care less what we did in the past (no grey on jersey and dirty-white pants), should we bring back black numbers too?

having new technology doesn't make the new jerseys good, as any design could have incorporated the new technology. They could have retained the old stripes into the sleeve (the numbers are on the sleeves, not the shoulders, there is clearly room).

had our jerseys featured the helmet stripes in 2005, they would have gone to the grey stripes to sell merchandise.

I voted No under the premise that the poll asks if we like the new jerseys as much as, or more than, the former jerseys.

I like that they're tight-fitting alot - the older ones just seemed so baggy - particularly around the sleeves. Also cool that they wick moisture.

I would have preferred that they left the other elements (in particular the stripes) alone, but they are hardly offensive now.

The silver bullets would look good in anything to me tho

Actually that's the opposite of what I was looking for.

I am however all about enhancing the performance of our team, and this is supposed to accomplish that......and that trumps the "look" IMO.

If they didn't make any announcement concerning the new uniforms, I bet many people would watch an entire game and not notice the difference. This is not because these people can't see well, it's just that there isn't that much of a change. People are making way too big a deal of this issue. The uniforms have changed many times over the years, and this version is no more radical than any of the others. The only reason this is an issue is because nobody has much else to talk about right now. Once the season begins we'll all forget about the uniform change.

I'd like to see Tressel change them back in a few years just to hear the same people complain all over again.
