Do I think Pittman is good? Yes
Do I think he is top 2 in the country? Right now no.
Could he ge in the discussion? Top 5 yeah, but not top 2.
You have to remember Irons was running against a good defense just about every week, in a heavy defensive conference last year.
Michael Bush is a stud, and I think the number 2 back would be between those two.
Lynch is also a stud.
Anyways it is basically splitting hairs on who would fit into whose system and so forth. I will gladly take Pittman and go to battle with him, but there are a couple guys I think I might take over him.

I haven't really seen Bush play so I might switch it around once I do get to see him.

I agree that Booker is too high on the list, and that Pittman definitely deserves to be on there somewhere.
Why does the guy include Jonathan Stewart, who according to my research had only 53 carries for 188 yards (3.5 ypc) and 6 TD's last year?
I think the guy remembered Booker and Stewart from their recruiting publicity, and that's why those two got more ink than their performances so far have merited.

Pittman is a very solid back who puts up great numbers without being "flashy." His signature runs to this point would be the 60-yarder against Minny, the power run against Michigan, and the game-sealer against ND. He's not a weekly highlight reel for the media, he's just solid. I'm not going to argue where he ranks in the nation, I just know that he does a helluva job for the Bucks.

Jonathon Stewart is a Chris Wells type. I think he'll be 2nd team all Pac-10 behind Lynch this year.

In case you didn't know, teams don't get points for having a runningback that averages 6 yards-per-carry.
People that make lists like these don't take into account rather it was "his fault" that he didn't score alot or not, neither will the NFL GMs and head coaches on Draft Day 07 or 08. A runningback that's 11th in the nation in rushing yards and 76th in the nation in rushing TDs obviously has a very big flaw, and should not by means be considered to be the 2nd best runningback in the country.
