Considering he did so well with his Mock Draft predictions, I don't think I'll take this too seriously...

Gentlemen
Smith is a QB. He's going top 10.
Anyone that beats scUM 3x is going in the top 10.
And he should win the Heisman too. It's a battle between Teddy and Troy Smith.
Troy Smith is going to win the Heisman barring major disaster. He's a legend and true leader. I can't believe no one here sees it.

Troy Smith has improved over the last half of the season, game to game, more than anyone I've ever seen before. He went from bumbling and blowing the game against Penn State to dominating Notre Dame and making them look like a high school team.
Smith has adequate size to play in the NFL, and his accuracy and leadership has improved tremendously as of late, and will only get better as he steps into next year as "the man" and the full-time starter. But besides Troy Smith's great athleticism and talent, he also has the "it" factor. The way he calmly led us back against Michigan, on two key late-game drives, and spun from defenders, made the tough passes, and led the offense down the field to victory was damn near legendary stuff. Not to mention he followed that performance by not only dominating ND in every way, but also towards the end he flashed his brilliance by getting the tough 1st downs to seal the victory.
Add all of that with his much improved attitude and leadership, I think that TS will be a special player.

I believe Drew Brees is listed at 6 ft (I know he's irrelevant to TS, but he's a pretty solid QB, that isn't that big of a guy).
Troy Smith is a much better athlete, and has a very good arm, and not to forget, he's listed at 6'1."
As for complaining and bitching on where he'll go in the 2007 NFL Draft, let's just get back to the topic of TS bringing home another National Championship to Columbus.

Troy Smith will not be a first day pick, unless he absolutely unloads this year. I don't how he projects in the NFL. Maybe a third down back or a 3rd or 4th receiver.
He could put up insane numbers at the combine, but look where that got Kudla.
He's not tall enough for teams to risk a first day pick on. He'll get a shot somewhere. But not as a high draft pick.

Have you read my post? I posted the sizes of some of the starting QB's in the league and they're all pretty much the same as Smith. As I've said before, if he doesn't make it it won't be because of his size. The key will be his decision-making ability. I know that's a pretty obvious statement but it's more important than his size or 40. I think he'll be a much better decision-maker than Vince Young was and that'll get him into the top 2 rounds. Look at Kellen Clemens. He improved his decision-making dramatically and even coming off a broken ankle he still got selected in the 2nd round. Plus, Kellen's only an inch taller, weighs less, and is slower than Smith. He also played in a conference with mediocre at best defenses.
