Leaf Helmet Stickers (Green or Black?)

I think the shadow in the close up makes it look black but I beleive it is dark green.

The youth football team I coach, and have coached for 4 years now, is called Ohio State. Three years ago, I ordered 600 buckeye leaves that we could reward the players with, during the season. Those leaves were most definitely green.

Last year, we knew that we would need more buckeye leaves, so I ordered another batch of 600 from the same vendor, and when they arrived they were black; not really dark green but black.

The better solution may be that they take turns buying the rounds

THey are definately green. Got mine from a friend who's a trainer for the OSU Football team.

I always thought that the teams were black, and the public sales were green.. only because the ones were i worked, yes for all two weeks, were green and i always thought the teams were black

Eyedropper test on the linked image... varies depending on the exact location, but the color is generally this:

R: 23, G: 43, B: 44

Well, that doesn't really mean anything, because the image could have been color corrected, gamma corrected, balanced ... and so on and so on. Whether it was digital photo or a print photo then scanned, there is no way to know whether the color presented in that picture is correct.

Frankly, I don't know what the question is about. If HAYN says the leaves on his own helmet were black, then I'll believe they were black. If he says the leaves on his own helmet were green, then I'll believe they were green.

Some members of this site have been on the team. It shouldn't be that hard to figure it out.

I always thought they were black. But I've seen them for sale in both colors.

I used to think they were green, but I changed my mind and I'm sure I'll never change it again.

Because once you go black....

They're definately black. I remeber passing a bunch of players on the field after Chapter 1 of "Troy Smith: Buckeye Legend", and up close they were definately black.

But if you don't believe the guy that actually played on the damn team, you're definately not going to believe me.

I have 2 of the authentic ones on my Expedition...they are green.
