From the Michigan site...J.B. talks about his interest in Michigan (again). UM recruited Mark Ortmann out of Klein in 2005 and J.B. also remains in contact with Mallet.

I really think it is a 3 horse race with us, Michigan and Texas...
I do know there are quite a few Michigan fans with positive thoughts on this one, and Mallett seems to be recruiting him pretty hard along with another kid they will probably get after signing day by the last name of McGuffie(sp?) that is also trying to pull him to Michigan...That kid is also from Texas...
Hopefully the Block O has some more pull than them...
You can also never count out the home school...

Film of J.B. playing tight end...the athleticism and leverage he can get are obvious. Blocks well in space. Overextends at times, but has a great motor and keeps his feet very quick and active for such a big guy. Does a great job of using the defenders own momentum against him...seals off to the inside very well.

I sway daily...one day Shugarts looks the most impressive, the next day it is Adams, the next day it is Brewster. As soon as we get some film on Long I'm sure he'll spend a day as my favorite horse.

LOL, I hear ya, but after seeing Adams film, I think he is going to need more work with a base and not lunging as much.
Brewster is a freakin' beast rb much like Conner Smith, but struggles a lil moving laterally when pass blocking.
For Shugarts he is very technically sound and he has the versatility to move down to guard as well as play tackle.
I guess it is hard to comment on the big 4 when I havent seen Long, but that is just my opinoin right now on the other 3.
