Uncharacteristic quote for Jalil. Most likely he was caught up in the moment and said that out of pure emotion. The Titans will be ready to play on Friday. I'm sure Coach Pearson will make sure they don't overlook this game or go into it with too much confidence. Should be a good one. Good luck.
Go Titans!
As for the 6 D-1 recruits, that is not completely true, however there are at least 3 that I have heard about. OL Ben Burkett has been looked at by many MAC schools and Big 10 schools as well. The SJJ punter is being looked at by Northwestern and Patterson is being considered by some D-1 schools as well.

I figured as much for SeanPat and Burkett. I wasn't positive about the Claus.. if that's who you mean. Jalil really has no room to be making statements like that when they had just beat up on a Knight squad that's lack of talent is pretty apparent. Maybe if they had only lost to DeSales; They are a tough school, Whitmer on the other hand was more talk than talent. I really don't see this one being close.. I can't wait to see the Blade writers' predictions on how bad SJJ will beat us. I don't even see it being as close the more realistic predictions think.. Irish Roll.. Make it 23 Strait.. 38-10.
P.S. I hope we end up with Southview first round. I have a bunch of friends/family in Sylvania that think Southview is on the same level as Central. I'd love it if they could finally see otherwise.
P.P.S.. Tom Cole is so dumb haha.. The Groundhog. Wow.

If Piqua loses this weekend to Northmont, then you might be playing against another Buckeye recruit Brandon Saine in the first round.

Brandon Saine vs Dane Sanzenbacher
Daner will step it up a notch if we play Piqua. Saine is very fast but the Irish D has a few surprises yet. Piqua has lost one or two I think so they are vulnerable. Dane ran against him last spring and Saine won the 100, 200 and 400 m if I recall. It takes a team to win a game and more than one burner, CCHS is a team that will not be denied.

Sean Patterson 13 - CCHS 7
CCHS played a tough game tonight but came up short. Patterson used his running ability to beat the Irish. The weather was terrible and the Irish tried to put together a late drive but fell short. The Irish defense was awesome against the run and pass. Sean P beat us with his feet. Dane Sanzenbacher got our only score for the Irish and had trouble with a wet football on a few missed completions. Spiderman wouldn't have caught some of those balls
At the end when the clock ran out, I heard the Johnies student cheering section chanting "over-rated, over-rated". I suppose they could have been talking about their team because the Fighting Irish" have been No. 1 all season and are the defending D II State Champs. They earned that title and in my book the respect of every would be team that came along trying to get a piece of them. CCHS has the playoffs ahead and more tough opponents, you don't get to that level of play being "over-rated". Good luck St. Johns - you're going to need it.
You're going to need more than Patterson's legs to get past the first round.
PS. Andrew S is still a jack ass

Piqua and Saine
Playing on the muddy Waite field will slow down Brandon Saine, the track star.
