I'm absolutely shocked he's ahead of Dukes and Lyons ALREADY! I thought for sure one of those two was going to be pegged as the #3 now that Small is nursing an injury.
Congrats to Dane! Interested to see if he holds that spot now between now and the YSU game. That ought to be plenty of motivation for the rest of the field there (Lyons, Dukes, Washington, Torrence).

He's a "slot" type reciever, Lyons and Dukes really don't fit that "type".
A traffic guy. Those are special skill sets.

I'm going to have to go back and find some video clips. He must be seriously showing out to have moved up in the line-up as a true freshman.

Exactly my thinking... And with Small out, Dane becomes the next best guy to fit that bill...

He's been compared to Gonzo since last year. Dane's number is 12, let's just see how Gonzo plus 1 does. I think we will be pleasantly surprised.
Scout had some great video clips from his junior year when his Toledo Central Catholic won the state against Canfield. He scored twice in that game and the first was ... I'll try to locate the clips. Find Clip #3.
