Dane in the Rotation
Tressel talks about Dane and Ray in today's Press conference. It seems we'll be seeing him on Saturday, the Ray and Dane combination will be fun to watch this weekend.
Transcript From Coach Tressel Weekly Press Conference - Ohio State Buckeyes Official Athletics Site - OhioStateBuckeyes.com
Quote:
REPORTER: You have Dane Sanzenbacher listed in your two deep, does that mean he's back or is Ray Small, your third receiver, will they share that responsibility? COACH TRESSEL: We'll probably try to have a rotation, if we're with two wides, it will be the Brians (Hartline and Robiskie) if we'll be three wides, we'll have Brian, Brian, Ray, or Brian, Dane, Ray, so that we can give those two Brians a rest every once in a while, they've been going a lot of snaps and they play fast and physical, so it gives us more of an ability to rotate, and then we still have an opportunity to get some kids in. The neat thing about guys like Devon Torrence and things like that is they're really helping out in the special teams so they're continuing to get some experience, but getting Dane back is a good thing, because Dane's going to be good, he's going to be a good player, and he gives you a little threat on the field.

Sanzenbacher to be in OSU lineup for Minnesota
By MATT MARKEY
BLADE SPORTS WRITER
COLUMBUS - Ohio State freshman receiver Dane Sanzenbacher from Toledo's Central Catholic High School should be back in the Buckeyes' lineup for Saturday night's game at Minnesota, Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said yesterday. Sanzenbacher, who had moved into a role with the starters prior to the beginning of the season, was injured in the Buckeyes' 33-14 win at Washington on Sept. 15.

Dane's Reception at Minny
Kudos to all the WRs this past weekend. We threw successfuly to TE's, WR's and RB's. I was hoping to see more long balls thrown to Dane and Ray and maybe less to the TE's but whatever keeps the ball moving forward. Ray had a great game and his speed is definitely going to help us against Purdue this week.
Although one reception by Dane isn't much to talk about, it was a key firstdown reception that setup the first TD run by Beanie. It seems Dane's blocking has improved also, he blocked well on another run by Ray. He made a key block previously againt Washington when Saine ran for 30 plus yards. This team is doing so well that it's hard to imagine that this is a very young team making some pretty big plays.
Injury follow-up? When Dane had that undisclosed injury (concussion) during the Washington game, I still haven't quite figured out what, where and when it happened. I was wondering if anyone might have some insight on that. In watching the Minny game, the closeup camera found Dane on the sideline once just after the reception he made in the first qtr and again later in the game with his hat off sitting on the bench (TB walking in front of him). Is he 100 percent? On both occasions I saw something in his eye movement that looked off. Darn HD images - too much detail I guess it's just over-reacting. Did anyone see this?
