I haven't seen hide nor hair of him on the field.
Didn't know if he was banged up or just going through the normal freshman growing pains.

He had a couple of catches, both for about 9 yards, against MSU, I think on the next-to-last-drive.

Could that be a lingering problem? Or is he just feeling the effects of the tOSU WR depth? He's a freshman, Ray and Brian H are Sophomores. They get the PT because they're higher on the ladder. But maybe, just maybe they (both Dane and Brandon Saine) are being held back for the Illinois and the Michigan games as a little surprise for them

Depth chart changes
2007 OSU Depth Chart
Dane is listed as #2 FL behind Robo. T Wash was not listed. This depth charts varies quite a bit from week to week, one can only speculate. Anyone have any inside information?

I have no inside info, but didn't Dane play some QB in high school? If so, I wonder if we'll see a WR pass against Michigan.

Yes he was the backup QB and played several games as a senior in that position due to an injury to the primary QB. His first pass in this substitute QB mode went for a TD. Nice touch on a sideline route to another WR.
He could pass it like TGII did last year. Didn't that pass go for a TD?
He could also do a TB, pass it and catch the deflected pass and run around the end.

Coach Hazell talks about our wide receivers, Dane and Taurian as Freshmen. And we thought the Buckeyes were going to have to rely on the ground game this year.
http://www.theozone.net/football/200.../receivers.htm
Quote:
The Buckeyes are now in the position of being able to put three receivers on the field that are threats, and that has prevented opposing defenses from keying on any one of them. They also have some youth that has provided unexpected depth.
"Dane (Sanzenbacher) is very steady," said Hazell of OSU's current fourth receiver.
"As a true freshman he's very steady and I have a lot of confidence in him. Taurean Washington is the fifth guy that I think can help us if we ever need him to."
