This is nearly impossible from an offensive lineman standpoint...I have been there played center, and you hardly see guys like Person and Cordle do it when they are over top of them, or even the Tackles do it when they have to get inside the DE to get to the them, but I have seen Brewster do it multiple times the last two weeks and spring guys for big runs...This kid plays the next 4 years at C and I would not take him out...He is an all american in the making...

I saw that too, when he picked up the linebacker to open the huge hole, and I was thinking about the contingency of the line. I wouldn't move Brewster from center right now, even with Rehring healthy.

How do you place the blame of the false starts on Brewster? The majority of the game is on silent counts, which means the offense needs to watch the ball. Brewster snaps the ball when Pryor and himself are ready, which is after they have made all the pre-snap reads. Brewster is also responsible for mixing up the snap time so that the defense cannot tee off on him. He was at fault once that I can count in the last four weeks...

Brewster just had an AWESOME blitz pickup that allowed TP the time to find Hartline for a 56 yard pass.

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

From freshman to freshman -- for the ninth straight game, so will go the snaps for the Buckeyes today when Ohio State and Michigan meet for the 105th time. Most know of Terrelle Pryor, the quarterback from Jeannette, Pa., who will be the one on the receiving end. But let's get to know Michael Brewster, the freshman center from Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla., a little better before he heads onto the field, perhaps with teeth chattering, because it's going to be cold, he's from Florida, and:
Q: How much of a shock was it for you moving up here in the dead of winter last January to get a head start on college?
A: That was probably the roughest (winter) quarter of my life. I was coming back from shoulder surgery and was working hard to rehab. Then the snow comes -- I was born in Kansas City, but I had lived in Florida for 15 years where I had never had to live in snow. I was sick with tonsillitis, ear infections, because my body was in shock.

Nice freshman campaign Brew. He will be one of the leaders of the offense next year. Between bowl practice, offseason conditioning and a chance to participate in spring ball and he will be a load next year and will be ready to lead a new O-line with some attitude next year. Way to go in your first shot at the Game.

This young man IS a LEADER ALREADY. And I agree... he's going to be a lot of fun to watch over the next few years.

Hopefully Brewster, Adams, and Shugarts are in the lineup in 2009. I believe are O-line will be bigger and more athletic.

Man im excited to see how great of a player Brewster can become.

Its hard to watch line play during the game on tv, but I definitely kept my eye on Brewster to see how he was doing against a future high pick in Terrance Taylor.

He more than held his own. What potential.

Brewster was named to the "Rivals.com Freshman All-America First Team Offense"

I think Big Ten but, all american would be nice.
