Pittman? Not a chance. The problem for Pittman is that he got no love from the national media last year, so there is no built-in hype going into this year. Pittman is one of the most accomplished returning RBs in the nation, and CFN just rated him, what, #22 among RBs?
The spotlight is on Troy, Teddy and to a degree, Chris Wells for 2006. Antonio Pittman is an afterthought, and I'm sure he'll draw motivation from that. It might get him 1500 yards or more, but not a Heisman.
Honestly, I don't think any OSU guys will win it this year, because there's this guy named Brady Quinn who plays for Notre Dame and Charlie Weis that might as well just go get fitted for his suit and clear off his mantle. When 2006 is over, we'll all know that Troy was the best player and MVP of the best team in college football, but if Notre Dame finishes no worse than 10-2, Quinn is going to win the Heisman anyway.

what games are you referring to? Pittman averaged 4.2 yards a carry against Texas & Penn State... but didn't get the ball enough (Troy was busy running poor QB draws vs Texas).

The key phrase in this bet is 'cinci is right'. Once the season is over we will likely spend two or three months discussing specifically what this references.

This is a cinci bet, not a Mili bet. I think it's pretty cut-and-dried.
