Wilson didn't take any visits this week and won't take any until January. He says the Buckeyes are on top. But it sounds like it will be awhile before a decision, it could come down to signing day. Many people are trying to discourage him from going to scUM. He may still visit Pitt and ND is not totally out of it. Having his brother at tOSU is a big advantage for the Bucks. tOSU coaches will be visiting this week.

The coaches will wait on Wilson. He is a huge priority if we can get him. TE/DE is a major need for us, and he's just an incredible athlete.

I hope Wilson has at least let the coaches in on what he is thinking. I think the reason he is not going to tOSU is b/c he really like Notre Lame and he wants to see who the new coach is going to be. It was said by Wilson's dad there is no way that he would play for the team up north. So mark off scUM. Also Pitt has no coach, and the thinigs that happened at Notre Lame would make you think he is ours. Well why the hold up.

He seemed to care more about playing for Ty Willingham than playing for ND. If anything, I'd be more worried about Willingham putting Washington in the mix than Weis putting ND back in the mix. In the end, my gut tells me he picks Ohio State, due to the fact that JT provides similar character to Willingham and close to home. I don't blame him for taking his time though. He's a young man who made big plans for his future, only to have that vision ripped apart by the sacking of Willingham. It's a big decision deciding what to do next, and it's selfish of us fans to expect him to just turn around and say he knows exactly what he's gonna do right away.

Pitt is now out of the running after their coaching change. But Urban Meyer is calling from Florida and scUM is still in the picture. tOSU is out in front but he will see scUM this month and Florida in January. He probably won't make a decision until the end of January.
He has been in regular contact with tOSU coaches including Jim Tressel. They have discussed the depth chart and answered any questions that Lawrence has had.
