Notre Dame's new coach, Charlie Weis, called Wilson today. According to Wilson's Dad the conversation went well and Lawrence was "pretty excited about it."
Weis has an in home visit scheduled with Lawrence this Saturday.

Ohio DE Lawrence Wilson
Who says Coach Weis doesn't have time to do it all?
Lawrence Wilson's father told me that Coach Weis is coming Saturday morning for an in home visit.
Are they still interested in Notre Dame?
"Yeah, I think, yeah," Wilson's father told me. "I only talked to him a couple minutes, but I watched the press conference and I'm definitely interested."
I'll have the full interview in Friday's edition of IRISH TODAY.

I took some insurance classes with Lawrence Wilson's Aunt (or something like that)about a month and a half ago. She was telling me that he just absolutely loves Notre Dame. He loves the school grounds and everthing about the place. According to her nobody else ever was really in the running, that he was just letting the recruiting process run its course before he made his intentions known. If what she said is true then I doubt he goes anywhere else. However, she could be wrong.

He is down to four schools- Florida, tOSU, scUM and ND. He has told all other schools to stop calling.
Florida- Urban hired a ND assitant coach who is helping in Wilson's recruitment. Lawrence also likes Urban Meyer.
tOSU- He says they are in the lead and talks to tOSU coaches all the time. JT was at his BBall game last Friday.
scUM- He is not sure where they fit on his list of favorites.
ND- He likes where Coach Weiss is coming from. Weiss has an in-home with Wilson on Sat..

Good point, SCB. But is it by school or by coach? If a coach gets fired, can his replacement do an in-home?
Anybody know?
