Of Ginn I said, " IF his mind is in the game, IF he runs his routes close to the way Holmes and Jenkins ran theirs, there's no one in the college game can touch him."
So if you insist he's the much better player of the two, an assessment I share, then Ginn becomes the most over rated. (?)
I think both failed to show up at key times last year. Ginn had two "almost" plays against Texas, but disappeared the rest of the game. The whole OSU team zoned out against Penn State and most of the Michigan State game. Ginn did show up... both good and bad... at Michigan, whereas Breaston was little more than a footnote.
Again, I really do believe that his father's health was an issue for Ginn last year. If he's focused this year the level of hype he has received will be proportionate to his accomplishments, leaving Breaston to be most over rated. Till then I still think it's a toss up 'cause Teddy gets a ton of hype.

Best - Calvin Johnson, with Dwayne Jarrett a close 1b
Overrated - Jeff Samardzija and Steve Breaston
Underrated - Probably Johnson. If he played at USC for example, you wouldn't stop hearing about him. Other than that, I'd agree with BB73's pick of Jason Hill.

Come on fellas... Let's take off the scarlet-colored glasses for two seconds.
Samardzija (sp?) is not overrated.
I've seen him make catches that neither Teddy nor Gonzo would be able to make.
He's got a huge frame with long arms, but the deal breaker is that he can USE them.
He's got good hops in the endzone and he makes CIRCUS one-hand catches. He's got deceptive speed and runs good routes (Burned the hell out of us on the first pass play of the Fiesta Bowl... too bad Quinn overthrew him).
Amazing athlete with excellent coordination and isn't afraid to take a big hit.
Overrated? Psh.

I would be willing to bet some of the reason he can make some of those catches that Ginn or Gonzo cant would have something to do with his height.
Also, I think, as I said before, that he is more a product of the system than anything else. He's good, I dont think people are saying he's bad, but he's not as good as people are making him out to be. He's NOT an all-american.
