I do think Smardzija is a product of the system. He is a good solid WR but not as great as what people say. He is definitly not an All-American type WR. As for the ND vs GT game...Johnson will show that he is proabably the best WR in the country this coming year. Smardzija may have better numbers in that game because he is on a better team with alot better QB. Johnson will still get his numbers and atleast 1 TD, that is basically given.

I never understood the love affair with this kid. As the number 1 two years ago he didn't put up very impressive numbers. Now, given the fact he's coming off of a knee injury along with those numbers I'm just not sold. |
