BB73 and Dryden have both 'noodled' it out!
Both BB73 and Dryden have excellent points, and I think have both noodled it out correctly. Frantically scrambling to last year's Athlon, and other assorted pre-season mags, it looks like MSU lost the fewest seniors from their Offense and Defense teams. Not sure about the juniors that opted for NFL, but I believe that OSU will break the Iowa streak (visitor loses by 30+), and that Penn State won't catch lightening in a bottle twice against us. Looking at the other athletes that Texas lost (other than VY), I really think that OSU's offense outscores UT's offense (or said another way, our D holds down their O better than their D holds down our O).
Meatchicken is the big question mark. They lose a bunch on offense, but they've got a 'Drew' and two healthy tailbacks that have had their noses bloodied for the last two years. O line has some holes, and only one 'go-to' wideout (as opposed to the normal two or three they've had). But still, it's Meatchicken, and I think that if anyone, they'll be a spoiler this year. However, IMHO, our talent and better coaching staff (In Tress we trust), won't allow that to happen, and we end up 13-0.
The SEC could be the problem, as unless they cannibalize themselves with losses, we could get screwed by one of them. Notre Dame and West Virginia are the two wild cards that could knock us out of the BCS championship.
I'm picking the Domers and LSU in the championship game, OSU and USC in the Rose.

Actually, neither team lost by 30+. The scores were 33-7=26 point loss and 31-6=25 point loss.

I went with 12-1, tOSU will most likely drop one that they shouldn't. I hope I am wrong, and I would happilly acept the sad graces of mistakeness if the Bucks do go 13 - 0.

I went with 11-2. Expecting a loss at Texas and a letdown game later in the year. We win the Rose Bowl.

Blah, blah, blah....
Wanna know what I think? Well, I'm gonna tell you anyways...12-1. Penn State is gonna be tough as nails. I'm very glad we have them at home, but that is going to be one tough game. Texas? I am honestly not worried about them. Our offense is very experienced, and they won't be able to hang without Young. He was their team, and he's gone. Meatchicken? Not too worried about them, either. They'll be solid, but it's still Tressel vs. Llloyd, and I know where to put my money in that match-up. Mi[censored]gan is a team we will never look past or under-rate, so that isn't my concern. My concern is a Michigan State, or an Iowa. That Iowa game is gonna be tough, and MSU is experienced and pass-happy.
Now, the intangible that everyone seems to be forgetting is this Ohio State TEAM. I am absolutely reveling in the fact that this TEAM is such a TEAM, and such an early time. I've seen evidence that people are really pulling together and acting like a true brotherhood, and I am LOVING that. Reminds me very much of 2002.
The other thing I like is the spring game...12-0? Are you kidding me? This defense is young and inexperienced...along with fast and TALENTED, not to mention severly underrated. The defense is going to be damn good, and I'll put vcash on it to anyone who says differently. Top 10 at the end of the season.

I think 11-2 is realistic....of course I will be rooting for 13-0, but with the inexperience on D, i think we lose 2. any of the following is a possibility, (at Texas, at Iowa, at MSU, vs PSU, vs Scum), I think we lose 2 of those 5, likely in a shootout like 35-31 or something.
