lets hope scUM can recover
I always root for that team up north (except for the last game of the season)... I know it's hard, but you must root for all big ten teams. We want the OSU vs. UM game to be the biggest regular season game NATIONWIDE!! (i'd like us both to be undefeated and serve them a beat down) just remember the better UM is, the more meaningful the game is to the BCS pollsters... lets not forget, it feels better to beat a good michigan team than a crappy one (although no matter what, beating them is sweet) I was at OSU during the cooper years, where beating UM was the last thing on his mind... He (cooper) was too busy shooting "Big Bear" commercials!!!

hillarious! are you guys serious (the 63 of you that voted 13-0) about us winning the NC or are you guys just being homers? i think we lose one of our tough games and trip up one other time along the way (impossible to say where). 11-2 Don't get me wrong though, i'll take 13-0 and the NC

If we do lose a game it will be a game we were suppose to win, I guarantee that. But I honestly think we will be 13-0 and win it all.

Bingo.
Im saying we roll, i really think we come out with a swagger and look like a FSU, Nebraska of the 90's and Miami, USC as of late.. this is through my heavily shaded scarlet and gray glasses though, i really think we can explode this year though.
But Michigan.. when they come to town im predicting were undefeated sitting at number 1 and they have 3 or more losses and come in ranked 15-25.. With Carrs job on the line, last years late comeback, "4-1", UM will come ready to play.

I picked us to loose two... both outside the conference, Texas and TBA...
Texas was more than Vince Young and is the only team we'll face with comparable speed. They bring in two excellent lines, a fast set of linebackers and depth at the corners and safeties and their fans are ready to remember the reception they got in Columbus.
I think the entire Big 10 is going to be down. Iowa lost a lot from a mediocre defense, MSU and Wisconsin will be breaking in a new coach, Baz is gone from Northwestern, Penn State won't be as good as last year, although there were a lot of sophs and frosh playing for them last year.. but we catch them in Columbus, it's going to be VLloyd time and then he'll have a necktie party in Effigy... a little village just outside of Ann Arbor. Who knows what's going to happen at Purdue and Illinois and Indiana stand a chance of beating each other.
Ginn worries me. I think his head was often elsewhere during much of last year. Do you sit him on kick offs and punts? Will he stand up without Holmes around.
Finally, last year's defense was the thing of dreams. We'll be good, but we won't come out and smash your cookies and then kick sand in your face.

I think we will have a season almost identical to Texas' 05 season for 06, I think we will have a serious scare early in the season from a National Championship Contender (Texas), take care of our rival fairly easily (Michigan) and defeat "The Greatest Team ever" in the National championship game (Notre Dame theywill go undefeated and will play very well but everyone will think they are the best ever because, it's Notre Dame).

So, you think we'll "loose" to one of the following:
- Northern Illinois, at home
- Cincinnati, at home
- Bowling Green, at home
I'll bet real money we don't lose to any of these three...
