My observation of Laurainitis not looking natural, was a nice way of saying that from reviewing the last two games of the season - he got neutralized (eaten up) by blockers often before he had any meaningful pursuit.
I understand that you are sticking with Laurainitis at SLB, but I watch and re-watch these games as much as the average poster on this board - so despite the fact that he was a freshman, he was certainly not a playmaker in there.
I know that it is hard to compare a true freshman to guys like Hawk, but at this point, I would not make anyone outside of Freeman a lock at any of these positions. In fact, I've heard from some
OSU backers that are even more maniacal than me that Laurainitis to MLB is highly likely this season.
It's not a dig on Laurainitis to say that you think he may be better suited for MLB, is it?
