Freshmen players at OSU to the PRO'S

2 ?'S

1) Who or how many past buckeyes made it to the NFL after the college time if they were a starter or on the 2 deep as a freshmen?

2) Opposite the first but, who or how many did not make it to the NFL after playing as a starter or 2 deep as a freshmen?

If they play as a freshmen they must be great with all the talent at OSU

To answer number one, Katzenmoyer is one, Clarett, if he somehow finds a way to get back in the league and Barring injury, Chris Wells is bound to be one, same as Malcolm Jenkins.

If you want to keep Pace with those who matched the likes of Winfield you could help yourself by starting here:

I remember this guy starting as a freshman; however, (sadly) his pro career wasn't that memorable even though he was drafted by the Colts in the 1st round (#4 overall):

I can help with this since 1989. This does include redshirt freshman. Bold means that they were true freshman.

Brandon Schnittker (2002, FB)

I assume that the 1st round picks of 2006 are locks to make the roster. Mike Kudla, Nate Salley, Rob Sims, and Ashton Youboty are others who were in the 2 deep as freshman who could end up making an NFL roster this season.
