I won the Michigan lottery!!!!!!
I checked my mail today and found an envlope marked Ohio State Ticket Office. I thought it was a bit early to be getting my alumni tickets, and after reading about others who have had their Big Ten games changed to a non-conference game, I figured the same thing was about to happen to me. I opened it up and to my surprise I found the following greeting:
"Congratulations! This letter is to notify you that you have been successful in the Michigan lottery. Individuals successful in the Michigan lottery will have their designated 2006 home game changed to Michigan."
Since good things usually don't happen to me, to say the least, I was shocked. I let out a loud yell and did some crazy jumps and kicks. And my wife says I never get excited about anything........
What really surprised me is that I have only been a member of the alumni association for 4 years, even though I graduated 12 years ago. Plus, I have only bought alumni tickets 1 year out of those 4, and I didn't buy them last year. I could've sworn that the application said that you had to buy alumni tickets for consecutive years to win the lottery......oh well!
By the way, the letter says this is a 3:30 start instead of the usual noon kickoff.
Good Luck to everyone else!!!!!!!

The game time was changed to 3:30 a few months ago.

That was announced over a month ago. The game the last couple of years has been starting at 1 pm.

About that, I sent those to you as a practical joke. You better send them back to me so I can play this trick on someone else, too.

That is correct. It must have been an error on the part of the Ticket Office. I'm sorry, but when your tickets arrive please place them in an envelope and send them to the address I send via PM to you. In turn, I will send back the N. Illinois tickets that I'm sure are being sent to me by mistake. A simple case of ticket mix-up...no harm, no foul.
Congrats! Very cool indeed.
