Hey Clarity... you know what we need here is some kind of electronic whiteboard where we can literally draw X's and O's... I want a Buckeyeplanet telistrator ?sp? !!!
Does something like that exist? If not, go make your next million and patent that bad-boy!
Back on topic...
The theory that other linemen make the guard look better is a good one I think - Clarke now has someplace to go. I wonder if the other linemen can maintain this level against a solid D-line though... I suppose we'll find out.

the difference is that step is now closer to being healthy and at least playing.....
not to be negative, but bishop was flat getting beaten horribly..... when he was beaten, it prevented clarke from pulling effectively b/c the route was clogged....and bishop pulling was an imposibility....
now the line is much better with sims, clarke, mangold, step and olivea......
they must, must stay healthy....

BIB, well it's not a program (it does exist, but not as freeware), but paint did the job, horribly I admit though. but something like this? or instead of the other TE is there a FB?

Ok those blocking assignments look OK until you realize that most teams bring one or both of the safeties up to the line of scrimmage. Then with no fullback to lead-block, the back is always getting nailed by the strong safety.

I have noticed that Ross is doing a great job of seeing the cut back lanes and making the cut at the right time in the last couple of games. There seems to be no hesitation, stutter stepping, or anything else, just plain old hitting the hole.
The o-line has certainly looked much better also. I think we all know that it is a combination of both running and blocking that make the ground game a success.
Another two cents in terms of the improvement in the o-line is seeing that the QB has been given good time to throw ball on most passing plays in the last couple of weeks.
