I don't see any need for Jake to get that much bigger, if he's staying at wr which I think he should, they'll be more concerned with his speed and quickness than being 250lbs. I'm sure he'll need to get stronger but theres no reason for him to get that big, he could play at his size now.

I don't think it's about need with regards to his size. He's a young kid right now, and he will need to lift to get stronger. He will also fill out as most guys do between 17 and 22... He will probably get to 250 lbs without much effort. If that's his natural weight, he'll probably be able to keep his speed, especially with the speed program currently in place.

Exactly, my point. Known the kid since he was 8, he will just naturally fill out much more.

Update on Stoneburner's summer:
In landing a commitment in late March from Dublin (Ohio) Coffman wide receiver Jake Stoneburner the Buckeyes landed the No. 4 overall prospect in the Buckeye State. With the recruiting process behind him, Stoneburner could concentrate on working towards a big senior season.
Unfortunately an injury kept Stoneburner from working out an he normally does. He had a stress factor in his pelvis bone and had to let the injury heal most of the summer.
"I'm coming back off that," Stoneburner said on Wednesday night. "I had to rest for eight weeks. But I'm definitely 100% now."
At 100% or anything close to that, Stoneburner is a big-time talent. He caught 63 passes for 950 yards and scored eight times during his junior season. At 6-foot-5 and 220-pounds, Stoneburner has close to major college tight end size, but splits out wide most of the time for the Shamrocks.
"I'll definitely play wide receiver at Ohio State," Stoneburner said. "Coach (John) Peterson told Nic DiLillo he didn't have to worry about me at tight end. I'll stay split out wide as long as I keep my speed. I could play some H-back, but not tight end."
Stoneburner has kept in contact with the OSU coaching staff and some of the prospects the Buckeyes are recruiting.
"They (the OSU coaches) can't text any more and I'm not a big e-mail checker," Stoneburner said. "So I'm supposed to call coach (Darrell) Hazell once a week. And I talk to Willie Mobley a lot. I text Terrelle Pryor every once in awhile. Most of our (recruiting) class is set. We'll probably take five or six more players. I'm pretty confident with getting five or six more."
Stoneburner is set for a big senior season.
"I want to make it to the state championship game for sure, and win the game," Stoneburner said. "I think that's a realistic goal. I definitely want to beat Hilliard Davidson. They beat us twice last year and won the state championship."
After defeating Pickerington North in their first scrimmage, Stoneburner and his teammates have a big scrimmage on Saturday night against Canton McKinley in Fawcett Stadium. The Shamrocks open the regular season against Troy at Dublin Coffman

Other site, U Tube has video of Dublin Coffman and OSU verbals, Mike Adams and Jake Stoneburner in their scrimmage against Canton McKinnely.

Both look ready to play right now.
