Jake is the type that can play TE, or split our wide as a WR (where I would like to see him). He has the speed, and with the size of our expected class next year, maybe a TE isn't a huge need. So to bring in a guy like Jake (whom the coaches have discussed playing at WR) would be perfect.

Jake reminds me of a skinnier Dallas Clark for the Colts. He has the speed and athleticism to move out to the slot and work the seams, but he will also have the size to play next to a tackle and work the middle and out routes...

I agree that they coudl be used in the same mold but he has 2 inches on Dallas and is only a high school junior. 6'6'' or 6'7'' might not be out of the question and for a TE that would be great height to go up and get the ball.

Jake says Iowa stood out more than ND on his visits and tOSU will always be one of the main schools in which he is interested.

Nice. Hopefully he, Adams and Fairchild are wearing scarlet and gray in the future.
