After watching the game, I have to say that these new uniforms look better on the field than anything I recall seeing. I think it was a GOOD thing to take the gray out of the jersey, though I wouldn't have thought so at first. The pants and helmets provide plenty of gray matter(ial).
Everyone who complained is going to have to eat shoe on this one.

With the new uniforms it was much easier to see the holding from the stands. The No Illinois linemen were tackling our linemen. It's too bad the officials couldn't see it.

There seemed like less open field jersey grabbage, which is a welcome change. I don't think objected to the material tho.

We'll see how they look in direct sunlight. If the away uni's don't have white jerseys and nearly white pants (that look nothing like the helmet)... I'll agree with you. However, the pants appear unchanged.
