4/20 Posey gallery from Cinci Combine. As you can see, DeVier has a good build for his size/speed. Last edited by jwinslow; 04-20-2007 at 12:30 PM. |

Well, he has a couple years to mature behind Small and Dukes at the flanker position, or behind Hartline. He has time and I, as well, cannot wait to see how it turns out for him. As I have said before, he is no worse a person than he is a great football player.

Very much so. He can really run with the best of them. With that kind of speed and size, his ceiling will be higher than either Robiskie or Hartline. Now that the Holmes-Ginn-Gonzo-Hall wave has moved on, and with the Hartline-Robiskie-Small-Lyons wave about to hit its prime, it's easy to see why the coaches have made it a top priority to get the next wave in here. Posey one side of the field with Scott on the other and Stoneburner playing the hybrid will nightmarish for opposing defenses.

Don't forget about Taurian Washington either...

I think we are kind of in a position where we need to reload at a couple positions on offense this year and we are really getting it done in a big way. |

I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed more, but Posey is posting some incredible track times this season. Last week at a big meet (Don Mitchell Roosevelt Memorial in Dayton), Devier placed 6th in the 200 with a time of 22.1, placed in the 400 with a time of 50.04, and also ran on the 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams that also placed. Make no mistake - Devier Posey has great speed.

It's fun to talk "stars" with recruits because most claim they dont care but they can cause an uproar.
Anyway, if he keeps performing like this in the combine ciruit and then puts together a great senior year he could very easily bump up into the 5* range. Congrats to Mr. Posey on the accomplishment. |

No question in my mind after seeing Posey in Cinci (on a wet field) & Scott in Clev/Pitt.
