I like his potential even more than his current ability.

You can tell by looking at the photo gallery he can easily add 20 pounds, and still improve on his speed. Didn't appear like the finished product type of athlete. Not to mention he's only played football for approximately two year...

Well, he has a couple years to mature behind Small and Dukes at the flanker position, or behind Hartline. He has time and I, as well, cannot wait to see how it turns out for him. As I have said before, he is no worse a person than he is a great football player.

You are right that this will be a great class of WRs. The thing that is amazing is that this group will potentially have a couple years to play with the Hartline-Small-Robiskie group. Posey, Scott, Stoneburner, and anyone else added this year (Tate?) should have 2 years to play with Small and Hartline. Plus, we have Washington, Sanzenbacher and the guys coming in this year that will also be in the mix.

I think we are kind of in a position where we need to reload at a couple positions on offense this year and we are really getting it done in a big way.

I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed more, but Posey is posting some incredible track times this season. Last week at a big meet (Don Mitchell Roosevelt Memorial in Dayton), Devier placed 6th in the 200 with a time of 22.1, placed in the 400 with a time of 50.04, and also ran on the 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams that also placed. Make no mistake - Devier Posey has great speed.

It's fun to talk "stars" with recruits because most claim they dont care but they can cause an uproar.

Anyway, if he keeps performing like this in the combine ciruit and then puts together a great senior year he could very easily bump up into the 5* range.

Congrats to Mr. Posey on the accomplishment.

While I agree with with what you are saying, he has already verballed, so it will be hard for his ranking to go that high IMO...He will be a 4 star all year, but he has shown up in all camps and put on very good performances and the staff liked him enough to give him an early offer, so he is a 5 star recruit to the ones that matter...
