From the "day in pictures" on the Cincinnati Enquirer website:
Quote:
Lakota West?s Dwight Phillips (center) wins the 100-meter dash at Fairfield Middle school. Devier Posey (right), from LaSalle High School, finished second.

I can't wait
I can't wait to see this kid in action as a Buckeye.
After them comparing him to Marvin Harrison, he has to be top 5 WRs nationwide in the 08 Class.

He is a beast, this is the first time I've seen some film on him. His speed is deceptive at times, but at other times, you KNOW when he's about to blow past you.
BTW, on that first kickoff return for a touchdown, is it me, or were his teammates knocking everything in sight down???

One of those receiving TDs reminded me of Gonzo's touchdown against Iowa last year. Catches it, backtracks, turns the corner and is gone.

Posey qualified for the 200 finals at State. He finished 5th in his heat of the 400 prelims just missing the finals.

Did someone say this kid wasn't a burner? 5th in state in the 200 is nothing to scoff at. Impressive and hopefully that track speed will translate well into football speed as it did with Teddy and the likes.
