I know it's almost kickoff for OSU but if you'd like to see Posey in action his LaSalle team is in action RIGHT NOW (1st quarter) on ESPN360.com
Just gotta go there, download the player and you can watch all their broadcasts. Colerain vs Hoover on later.

I thought he looked fantastic.. the game was awful... and the LaSalle pass protection and scheme looks horrific... But Devier made about 5-6 great catches, most in traffic, all for key first downs, and he had nice runs after the catch on each play.. but on his last catch one of the Catholic kids had one of the worst face masks Ive seen, and nearly snapped Devier in half.. I held my breathe, but he seemed to be okay after staying down for 20-30 seconds
Anyway, he definately lived up to the hype...

DeVier was stellar as always. Great hands, big time hops, great ability after the catch. Finished with 6 rec 100+ yds IIRC (1 td too?).
He even turned in a pretty good game at DB, which isn't his natural position. He had a number of pass breakups, shut guys down on jump balls, and even forced a fumble. However, on the opposition's final drive, he bit on a hard pump fake, which led to the winning TD. Can't fault him at all, I thought he more than held his own for a spot-duty DB.
That facemask was horrific. Devier was woozy at first, then popped up with a smile, and returned the next play.

I haven't followed the national rankings to a fault, but if there is such thing as an underrated 5 star recruit, Devier is the real deal.
As peopl have said here multiple times, myself included, he's going to be a star in college. He's just gifted, nothing more than that needs to be said.

Lyons and Dukes could drop even further on the depth chart next year, assuming they're still here.

Indy Cathedral 7, La Salle 6
Game defined by one late play
BY CAREY HOFFMAN | ENQUIRER CONTRIBUTOR
Indianapolis Cathedral's Jack Lupo wasn't able Saturday to replicate his four-TD reception performance of a week ago against Louisville Pleasure Ridge Park.
Instead, he had to settle for just one touchdown catch - the biggest of his career.

Quote:
The big play that set up that score was a 32-yard completion by quarterback Brendan Jones to star receiver DeVier Posey. Posey, an Ohio State commit, caught five passes for 112 yards in the game and also had three pass breakups as a cornerback while doubling up on defense in the second half.
"Wherever Coach Grippa and our team needs me, I'll line up," Posey said. "I played some tight end today. At the end of the game, we were kind of worn down, but that's no excuse really."
