The Ohio State bound senior made all the right moves and isn't likely to stray anytime soon.
"I haven't got here to this place without people who've helped me," said Devier.
"A lot of people have helped me ? my coaches, my Mom ? she's my biggest supporter, she keep's me going everyday. My family members, my friends, my teammates," continued Devier. "And I think I got the easy part. All I've got to do is work hard and do the right thing ? and that'll keep me on the right track."
And his Mom isn't the only one tracking his progress, Bengals receiver Chad Johnson wanted to pay respects to a young man whose future is bright beyond words.
"The first thing he said is, 'I respect the game, I like what you do' and he said one thing more, 'I want to be just like you,' ? and I stopped him and said, 'Brother, you don't want to be just like me. You want to be good at it."

Acutally guys Earl Cunningham does in fact play football and was 2nd string runningback on varsity only behind gahanna's all-time leading rusher Darius Reeves. He should be the starter next year. The thing with Earl is he is very small.

Sorry for giving misleading information. In all the preseason writeups on Gahanna, I couldn't find any mention of him, so I speculated he didn't play football. Unfortunately, Gahanna routinely has one of the best track teams (sprinters, anyway) in central Ohio, and they seem to rarely play football.

I had to check my pictures to verify that Posey ran that 200 final from lane 1, which sucks for him because how tight the lane is and his body type and running style.

nice article about Posey's brother and family
Quote:
Julie Posey, mother of Ohio defensive back Julian Posey and future Ohio State wide receiver DeVier Posey, throws a pass to her sons in Peden Stadium before Ohio?s game versus Temple on last Friday. Julian and his brother DeVier could be matched up against one another next year when Ohio travels to Columbus to face Ohio State.
