Let's put it this way...I don't see him redshirting...

My take:
Surprising speed as discussed before. Also shows great toughness in his willingness to go up and catch the ball over the middle. I think what shocked me most and just solidifies in my mind that he's one of the top 3 receivers in the nation is his vision. He sees all the defenders, makes one or two moves, then heads straight up field. You don't see him making ten jukes after every catch, usually just enough to shake the defender then he turns on the burners. Very impressive film. |

thats saying alot with 3 freshman WR not Redshirting last year
dane, devon, and TWash as well as robo [hopefully], hartline, and small returning |

Posey wil play next year along with Stoneburner. Frosh: Dane, Wash, and Torrence back to D side will be in the mix. Posey and Stoenburner are probably better now then the current freshmen.

"Posey and Stoneburner are probably better now then the current freshmen." Bold statement Quickness, considering both played as true frosh and Dane played extensively. I hope your right. I saw numerous Coffman games and Stoney looked like a very nice player who has a good ability to get the ball in traffic and good speed after he gets it. I haven't seen Posey yet, but after reading your, and others (specifically Wads) comments, I'm really looking forward to seeing what these guys add to our offense. Posey seems to have that rare gift of great size, speed and hands.

IMO, Posey is gonna quickley jump the present freshman WRs.. and I wouldnt be suprised if by midseason if he's heavily involved in the passing game..
He is that good.. If he stays healthy and has a good QB, he's gonna be the one the best ever at OSU, IMO |

Posey blows Washington out of the water in basically every category as a young player.. only advantage Washington has is that he's been in the system for a year.
Sanzenbacher is limited athletically in some area, as where Posey is not.. I think Dane will have a good career at OSU when they find a role for him and once again, he has a year in the system under his belt.. That being said he's not in the same stratosphere as Posey in regards to talent and potential |

I think Posey is better after the catch, but Washington, at this point in time, is probably better suited to go up and make the catch. |

DeVier shows the natural playmaking ability I saw in his junior film but he also has shown improvement in his route running (evident at the NJ Nike camp, senior film, and 7 on 7's). Exceptional lateral acceleration, body control, and has breakaway speed. He does seem even faster this year. With his rapid progression and natural ability, I could see DeVier getting immediate PT. I think a RS season is possible but players like this always find their way onto the field it seems. I think he can be an outstanding return specialist right away. Top 3 WR in the country right along with Jones and Green.

Almost forgot about Thomas. With the graduation of our top two fullbacks, I wonder if the coaches will put in three or four WRs on the field more often next year. Robiskie, Hartline, Small and Posey would be sick!
