No way Posey redshirts imo...he may not get a ton of time at WR (though I think he gets some), but he will get time returning kicks or something. He is a special player. I would personally love to see both he and Thomas get a shot at returning some kicks, along with Small. Posey seems very intelligent and seems to have a good foootball IQ. He runs good routes for not playing football for that long and has great intangibles. I think Robo and Hartline are buckled in at 1 and 2, but beyond that, DeVier can earn some time along with Sanzenbacher, TWash, etc.

Agree with everything here other than returning kicks...I wanna see Saine and Small back there returning kicks...And Thomas would be the third guy...

Back to his track times - not that there is anything wrong with either 10.7 or 10.98, but it's also good to remember that, if he has been focusing on 200's and 400's, his 100 time might not be as good as it could be.
Edit: a matter of hundreths of a second to 1-1.5 tenths, tops

100//40 time is coachable; building pure speed will be better in the long run. Have we ever put a true freshman on the returns?? other then TGII i dont think so... but i could be wrong.

What will get him on the field early is his route running. Which by all accounts is superb!

Sources tell me Sanzenbacher is doing a turn at Kickoff/punt returns this year. He's shifty and has quick feet.

Forgot about Saine somehow...I agree with that However, I think Posey could have a future returning kicks or punts.
