How do you forget Roy Hall? Big time catches against Michigan his senior year.
Posey is going to bring it strong, probably best shot out of the incoming receivers to find the field first. Although Stoney has a pretty good shot too because of his jump ball ability.

I didn't really forget about him, as much as he never really lived up to the hype he had surrounding him when he came in. Trust me, I loved Hall, but lets face it, he never made that much of a splash in the lineup for tOSU, he was already being out thrown to by Robiskie and Hartline his senior year.

Not to mention he made I believe 3-4 catches against scUM all on our first drive, I'm not sure he did much else the rest of the game. It was great to see him get us going, and I'll never forget him, but come on he wasn't really the greatest WR to ever come through here. Can you name any other big games Hall ever had at tOSU?

If I were to rate the best #8's myself I'd still say Bobby Olive and Drew Carter probably tied for 1st, Stanley Jackson, then Roy Hall, and then Steve Bellisari.

But again here's hoping that Posey can go ahead and clear the debates for this jersey # in the coming years!

I pity the fool who thinks Sanzo and Taurian are getting passed up this year or in the future. They are going to make some All-Big 10 lists before their careers are over. Posey, Stoney, and Flash are just going to have to wait their turn.

I think in the bunch of young bucks I tend to see it this way. Sanzo will be an excellent slot reciever, twash and flash seem to have the big play ability. Stoney is going to be nice as that height/jump ball guy with some speed. But just from what I hear, see, and a gut feeling on Posey, I really think with the fluidity in route running and speed he's the most prototypical of the bunch for a number one. Just my two cents. I see all these young men contributing in the near future, but in the end I think devier has the potential to be a once in a long while kinda guy.

I will disagree with this...Yes I really like Sanz and Twash, but Posey is that good...

I think he could be the number 3 guy this year and really push for the top spot as a sophomore, no matter who is on the roster...Hartline, Stoney, Flash, Twash, sanz, schwartz, etc...

I'm sure we'll see a lot more 3-4-5 WR sets in the future so it won't really matter if Washington and Sanzo are considered the starters. The rest of the WR's should see plenty of action too. I can guarantee you he won't move past Hartline(if he stays) next year. Guarantee it.
