I think he could be the number 3 guy this year and really push for the top spot as a sophomore, no matter who is on the roster...Hartline, Stoney, Flash, Twash, sanz, schwartz, etc...

I'm sure we'll see a lot more 3-4-5 WR sets in the future so it won't really matter if Washington and Sanzo are considered the starters. The rest of the WR's should see plenty of action too. I can guarantee you he won't move past Hartline(if he stays) next year. Guarantee it.

Posey may push the others to a another level. I haven't seen Posey in action much so I have a disadvantage in making the claim that you make. However, I have seen Sanz and TWash play. IMO both have made the transition to CFB, TWash needs more play time and he's going to be great. Sanzo needs to get more touches, and we haven't seen his full potential yet. Posey may have the measurables but is unproven in CFB. He will make a splash this year and possibly push Dane or Ray for the #3 WR spot. Knowing Dane, he's very competitive and that won't be easy. The good news is that Tressel and his coaches have a lot of weapons this year to try out. As fans we will have enough to keep us busy for several years, the team just gets better and better.

I would be willing to bet that even if Posey isn't listed as the #1 next year that he will be the top catch guy at the end of the 09 season...
Word is that Posey and Pryor have a great connection and he seems to be looking for him...We saw it in the AA game and that is the word from 7 on 7 so far...
I am not knocking any receiver we have...I love Hartline and think that he will step up big this year and his senior year, I just think Posey has something special about him...

I do too and he'll show flashes early on but Dane, Taurian, Small, Hartline, and Robo are going to be more consistent and that's what the coaches are looking for.

I've got your back...I expect Posey to be a playmaker and early on.
