Yup, couldn't agree more. People's sense of entitlement is beyond belief at this point. Geez, they give you a chance to see them for free and, if you are lucky and desire it, you might get an autograph. And they do the best they can under various constraints to offer this to fans, and yet some people react as if they've been cheated??????? Man that's sad.

I've watched this post most of the day. Some of it really bothers me. Below is a copy of an original post I made today on BN. I think (or hope) it represents a majority of what people experienced last night.
I've heard some of the players and coaches frequent this board, so I'd like to pass along a very big thank you to Coach Tressel for inviting us to his practice and all the players. Everyone I encountered last night during the autograph time was very patient and kind. I greatly appreciate the memories provided to my 6 year old son (and me too!) from this event.
My son came away from this event with two extra special memories. He has an autographed Buckeye football that was proudly placed on the head board of his bed last night and a new favorite player. Tyler Whaley, thank you so much for the extra time you took with my son and taking a picture with him. He, nor I will ever forget it.
Thanks guys, and good luck!

The OSU practice
Whats to complain about? We who couldnt get there are in envy of those who did. Ohio State was very kind to open its doors to the fans who love it.
You who went there had a premier Buckeye "fix" which the rest of us failed to receive. We had to remain at home and continue to watch and wait (and froth at the mouth). For us there was no autographs, no players, no boisterous and happy fans. No "Shoe", No Tressel, No "Carmen Ohio" and no Marching Band.
WE would have given out left thingy to be there.
Instead we settle for crumbs from the altar of our heros.
So Rejoice in your opportunity its only 11 days until kickoff.

I do find the critisisms distressing, I think both myself, my wife and I know both of my kids had a blast last night. What I would love to see, being the parent that I am is some time when you could have the players and coaches on the feild, and no one over 12 allowed, they would have to stay in the stands, parents included. Just let the team interact with the kids. That is what I saw yesterday, players eyes lighting up just for the kids and the smiles they got.
I don't know [censored], but I would bet that the players would like that alot more than hassling with adults who act like jerks, even the polite ones, my nickle lies with a kids only event.
