tOSU Night practice Aug. 21

im sure most of you have either read or seen something about this on tv, i didnt know if it was already a thread or not, considering there is a thread on ever single roster player that would have taken longer than what i wanted. anywho, autograph session from 7-8 and practice from 8-10 at jesse owens....parking and admission is free...

does anyone know if the autograph session will be organized, like they will be at tables and you just go down the line or is it going to be helter skelter every man for himself kind of thing?? thanks!!

No matter what I envision HELTER SKELTER b/c everyone will want GINN, SMITH, PITTMAN, WELLS, etc etc. That is NOT possible in a situation like this. I have no idea how OSU is going to organize this but it is something I wouldn't even want to get near!

see i thought about this, but in years past the sessions autograph signing has been very organized, hopefully it remains that way come next monday!!

Usually they did it in the French Field House, right? The lines for Ginn, Smith, etc. were out the door.

Lot of speculation that the night practice might be moved to the shoe. Anyone have confirmation?

Coach Tressel has decided to hold a one hour autograph session in Ohio Stadium on Monday, August 21st at 6pm and fans will be allowed to stick around and watch practice afterward. This is an opportunity to scratch your football itch before the season officially starts.
The Buckeyes will have at least two night games this year. With limited practice time, the Buckeyes feel that taking one day during fall camp to devote to a different environment will be beneficial during the course of the year.
We look forward to seeing you all there!!

The location for Ohio State's open practice and autograph session Monday night has been changed to Ohio Stadium, the OSU department of athletics announced today.
The event originally was scheduled to be held in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The change is being made to accommodate the large number of fans expected to attend.
Gates will open at 6 p.m., and a one-hour autograph session with the players and coaches in the stadium concourse will start at 7. Practice will follow at 8 and continue until about 9:45.
The Owens stadium has a capacity of about 12,000, including standing room. The original plan was that if that figure was reached, the gates would be closed.
Autograph seekers will be limited to one item per player.
