I'm as big a Doss fan as anyone, but what about Cris Carter? Do we subtract points because he took money from an agent?
|
Well based off of their college careers, I just had to go with the 3 time all american, who's heart and leadership was one of the MAIN reasons we had that 2002 NC run. Loved Carter as well, but like BB73 said had Carter had stayed all 4 he would have probably been the #2.

Ray Griffin? Tough call, but Gary was never an All-American that I recall.
|
Your right he was not, it was a tough call between the two, but I went with the guy who has the most consecutive games catching a pass for the bucks, however, your definitley free to debate that Here.

LeCharles Bentley? Can't we have a tie?
|
I loved Bentley as well, and might have considered a tie had he stayed all 4, but then again, from everything I've read on Stillwagon, he was simply a monster out on the field. I'd say if we're going to consider ties, then we should also look at #'s 7, 10, 36, and 47. It's another tough one, that can be debated Here.
Finally I thank you very much for the kind words and the responses to the list, but if you wouldn't mind keeping the debates in the proper threads. I'll also go ahead and edit the original post to link the list to their proper threads to make it much easier on everyone. Again sorry to pick on you, and lets keep those opinions coming!

Well, thats done, and I must say I should have been doing this from the get go, but hopefully this makes it easier for everyone to be able to participate in the debates for who should be the greatest buckeyes to ever wear each number!
